Casting

For our film opening, we have to consider ideal actors/actresses for the roles within our movie. In order to do this, we first of all look at possible celebritites with the qualitities we desire. As we have 3 main characters in our film opening, we only need to think of 3 ideal celebrities that could could be casted for our opening. We have to consider Mise mainly before choosing our ideal candidates for our actors. This is because we need to decide how our characters are going to dress, make up, props they'll use and if they would fit well in our chosen location and if they would go well with the other characters. We also need to cast people who would interact well with eachother as they need to have chemistry between them in order for our actors to follow directions well.



Farmer - Mac Donald played by Sam Aston

In an ideal world, we would cast Sam Aston to play the role of the farmer stereotype character. We would chose him as he has the desired look we require for the role and is around the age we would like our characters to be. His hair colour, figure and previous acting experience, make him great for this role.


 


Nerd - Eugene played by Himesh Patel

If it were possible, we would cast Himesh Patel to play the role of the nerd stereotype character. We would cast him in confidence due to the fact we already see him playing this type of character on TV. He has the desired look we require and his ethnicity has connotations to intelligence, so we think he would be very good for this role.








Hippie - Doobie Journey played by Tyger Drew-Honey

If we could, we would cast Tyger Drew-Honey to play our most 'normal' charcter, the hippie. We think his hair style, and looks suit how we imagine this character to look. His previous experience in comedy shows makes him more appealing for a role in our rural comedy. He is the desired age for the role, so we think he is a popular choice to cast.
